Culinary Arts
Elite University is proud to bring our Culinary Arts Camp back for another year! Camp units include: safety and meal prep, cooking recipes prepared by various chefs, as well as a field trip to a food truck yard and a working farm. Campers will prepare their own food truck menu and serve their dishes on Friday.
Daily Activity Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – 8:45 AM CHECK IN
- 9:00 AM COOKING CAMP BEGINS
- 9:00 AM HAND WASHING, CLEANING SPACE
- 9:30 AM SPLIT INTO COOKING GROUPS
- 9:45 AM READ RECIPE & PREPARE INGREDIENTS
- 10:00 AM MEASURE & MIX INGREDIENTS
- 11:00 AM COOKING INSTRUCTION & COOKING
- 11:45 AM CLEANING KITCHEN
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
After lunch, ALL campers will be placed into age groups and will participate in counselor led activities. Activities Include: inside camp games • basketball • art/science project • outside play
- 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM: COUNSELOR LED ACTIVITIES

We are excited to partner with Houston’s most talented visual artist for this year’s Mixed Media Arts Summer Camp! Units will include: sculpting and ceramics, painting, architecture, and a study into contemporary and abstract art. This camp also includes a field trip to an art museum with a guided tour.

- 9:00 AM INTRODUCTION NEW ART TERMS
- 9:30 AM SPLIT INTO GROUPS FOR TEAM ART PROJECT
- 10:30 AM STUDENTS PRESENT WORK FOR REVIEW
- 10:45 AM INTRODUCTION SECOND PROJECT
- 11:45 AM TIME TO CLEAN UP AND STORE WORK
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
