Bring comfort and culture to the kitchen! In this hands-on camp, young chefs will explore the rich traditions of Southern cooking while learning the essentials of food prep, kitchen safety, and culinary techniques. Daily, campers will cook traditional Southern recipes alongside cultural fusion dishes that blend soul food with global flavors, expanding their palates and culinary creativity.

Ropes Course Field Trip
Elite U Campers will engage in an invigorating up-in-the-air adventure balancing on ropes, crossing bridges, and climbing through obstacles. All from the safety of a climbing harness! The Great Wolf Lodge ropes course offers high-flying fun that will elevate the summer camp field trip experience a whole new level!

FOOD FIGHT!
Get ready for the most unforgettable day of the week! Our Field Day Food Fight is a hilarious, high energy, team game. Campers will suit up and head outdoors for a safe supervised, and fun food splatter competition!
• Safety goggles provided
• Campers will need change of clothes
• Use of soft kid-safe food items: Jell-O, pudding, eggs, pudding cups, and water balloons
• Campers will be split into age groups for age appropriate fun
Daily Activity Schedule
- 9:00 AM COOKING CAMP BEGINS
- 9:00 AM HAND WASHING, CLEANING SPACE
- 9:30 AM SPLIT INTO COOKING GROUPS
- 9:45 AM READ RECIPE & PREPARE INGREDIENTS
- 10:00 AM MEASURE & MIX INGREDIENTS
- 11:00 AM COOKING INSTRUCTION & COOKING
- 11:45 AM CLEANING KITCHEN
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
After lunch ALL campers will be placed into age groups and will participate in counselor led activities.
- 1:00 – 3:00 PM PM PHYS-ED, S.T.E.M., OR ART
- 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM REGULAR PICK UP
- 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM EXTENDED DAY & PARENT PICK UP
