Elite is a community and we love our students. We have had the privilege of being apart of these students journey! Our students have had tremendous success on and off stage. We are proud to share their stories.

Audrey Rytting (19) is a native Houstonian and a rising Sophomore at Cornell University. Audrey is a 2016 graduate of The High School for Performing and Visual Arts ( HSPVA ) with a focus in Creative Writing. 


Audrey has always been a talented individual with a great propensity towards the arts. She began playing the piano at 5 years old and the cello at 7 years old. Audrey joined Elite the Summer of 2009 when she earned a lead role in the Elite Music & Fine Arts Summer Camp production of: Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Audrey would continue her theatre arts education with Elite from 2009 to 2013. She has been featured in the following Elite productions: Dear Edwina, Alice in Wonderland, Cats, 13 The Musical, and Little Shop of Horrors. She is a founding member of the Elite Players Touring Troupe. She also participated in the Elite Saturday program where she studied in the vocal studio of Jeré Charlot as well as Jazz, Modern, and Tap Dance with Christopher Tipps. 


Audrey has continued to include the arts in her life beyond Elite and HSPVA at Cornell University in the College of Arts and Sciences. She has recently been featured in the Risley Hall’s production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show as Magenta. We at Elite are so proud of the young woman that Audrey has become. We look forward to many more productions and new beginnings beyond graduation!

Rory A. Johnson (15)  is a rising Sophomore that attends Carnegie Vanguard High School (CVHS) in Houston, Texas. Rory joined Elite Music & Fine Arts in the Fall of 2016 by attending the vocal studio of Jeré Charlot, Executive Artistic Director of Elite Music & Fine Arts.


Rory is an incredibly gifted young man whose talents include: violin, vocal performance, theatre arts, and most recently lighting and tech engineering. He has worked with The Houston Grand Opera as well as the Treble Choir of Houston. He has been featured in six theatre arts productions including, Carmen and Showboat with the Houston Grand Opera. He has also performed at Carnegie Hall with the Treble Choir of Houston.  


Rory has recently been inducted into the International Thespian Society. He is a member of Troupe 7610 at CVHS where he has participated in: Pillowman by Martin McDonaugh and Xanadu by Douglas Carter Beane. 


Rory’s interests and hobbies include: Biology, video games, hanging out with friends skateboarding, and playing ultimate frisbee. We at Elite are excited to see Rory continue his studies at Carnegie while perusing his interest in Theatre Arts. 

Autumn Kimball (11) is a rising sixth grader from Houston, Texas. Autumn joined Elite Music & Fine Arts (EMFA) in the Fall of 2015 by attending the Elite After School program where she studied Musical Theatre and Cello. 


Since 2015, Autumn has been accepted into the American Festival of the Arts’, Houston Girls Choir and joined the vocal studio of Jeré Charlot. She has also worked with the Houston Grand Opera, HITS Theatre, Wildfish Theatre, The Poe Players and featured in three Elite Players (EMFA) productions. 


Autumn has been featured in productions such as: Aladdin & Arabian Nights, Shrek The Musical, Dear Edwina Jr., Hairspray Jr., Putnam County 25th Annual Spelling Bee, Peter Pan Jr., The Little Mermaid, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. 


When she is not in performance, Autumn enjoys: reading, baking, and writing. Autumn has most recently been accepted into the very prestigious Interlochen Theatre Arts Summer Program for the summer of 2018. Autumn is well on her way to a promising future, stay tuned for more exciting developments!
