Camp Description

Exotic Animals have always excited us. This year our young vets will learn what goes into taking care of these beautiful wild animals. How do you create a meal plan for a lion? How are dolphins raised in captivity? How does one become a vet or a zoo keeper to care for exotic animals? What are their ailments and how does a professional keep an exotic animal healthy and happy? Veterinary Science Camp activities include a visit from Austin Zoo Educational Outreach, exotic animal showings, and discussion, as well as a educational field trip to the Austin Zoo. Campers will also participate in guided lessons and art/science activities.
