Camp Description
EUSC is proud to partner with Loveland Ranch for equestrian education! This is an adventure packed, field trip based, camp. Horseback Riding Camp includes a on-campus introduction to horses, one on one horse riding sessions, and three days of riding, with professional guides at Loveland Ranch. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays campers will be bussed to Loveland Ranch to be fitted for their horses, review safety training, learn riding skills, and participate in a trail ride. Natural Horseback Riding Lessons are designed to teach the principles of good horsemanship to campers who desire to ride in a way that is more geared to our horse’s point of view and their natural way of dealing with places and situations. Riders develop skills that allow them to communicate and move with their horse in natural rhythm and synchronicity that develops trust and makes every adventure an enjoyable one. Field Trip student-teacher ratios are 8:1.
Tuition includes: Four days of riding lessons, before / after camp.

Monday Introduction to Horses
- 7:00 AM – 8:45 AM CHECK IN
- 9:00 AM HORSEBACK RIDING CAMP BEGINS
- 9:15 AM SPLIT INTO AGE GROUPS
- 9:30 AM HORSE ARRIVES / SAFETY TRAINING
- 10:00 AM LIVE DEMONSTRATION AND LECTURE
- 10:30 AM INDIVIDUAL RIDING SESSIONS
- 11:30 AM SAFETY REVIEW AND RIDING SKILLS REVIEW
- 11:45 AM SAY GOODBYE TO HORSE
- 12:00 PM LUNCH
On Monday after lunch ALL campers will be placed into age groups and will participate in counselor led activities.

- 2:00 PM SELF REGULATED STUDENT LED GAMES
- 3:00 PM OUTSIDE PLAY
- 4:00 QUIET REFLECTIVE TIME
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM PARENT PICK UP
